Shanghai Party Secretary Yu Zhengsheng and Shanghai Mayor Han Zheng yesterday expressed thanks to domestic municipalities, provinces and autonomous regions for their long-term support and help in the city's development.
Officials from domestic municipalities, provinces and autonomous regions in Shanghai forwarded their proposals about the upcoming World Expo in Shanghai.
Han said the Expo is a good opportunity to fully display China's achievements and progress since its reform and opening-up. He hoped domestic municipalities, provinces and autonomous regions will present their suggestions on the event.
